The management team of the Institute of Management Studies (IMS) College has been changed recently.
Navin Chauhan has been the new Chairman of IMS College established in 2004. Chauhan, has been in the academic field for last 15 years, is also a director and vice-principal at Liverpool College. Chauhan’s team includes educationists and academic personalities affiliated to reputed educational organizations in Kathmandu.
“MoUs have been signed with five companies to make student self-reliant and ready for the job market,” said Chairman Chauhan, and the college now will lead to new dimensions. IMS Collage has entered into agreements with international information technology companies including Procer Nepal and Janish Cloud Academy, Talent Connect- a HR company and securities companies.
IMS will now to focus on students and technology-enabled learning to produce competent human resources for domestic and international job market considering students’ personality development.
“The college will focus on engaging recognized academicians and scholars from various disciplines as regular and visiting faculties to position the college as a reputed business college in the country,” said the new Chairman Mr. Chauhan expressed the commitment of the new management team.
“Students migrating to foreign countries for a better quality of higher education is on the rise, so the college will provide international level of higher education,’ said Mr. Chauhan. BBA, BIM, and BBS programs affiliated with Tribhuvan University are being taught at IMS College.
