Schools shut down in Kushma

Two schools at Pakuwa Silsi in Kushma, Nepal shut down after students started falling ill while showing flu-like symptoms. The Schools were Biswa-Jyoti Technical and Vocational Secondary School and Raniswarna Primary School.

These Schools have decided to close after the students complained about having illness such as headaches, common cold, fever, etc. for a week. The School managements mentioned about the seventh grade students at first mentioning about the illness but later on got more complaints from other classes as well which eventually prompted the School management to close the Schools.

The illness is thought to be the infection of Covid_19 virus as the physical classes in Parbat district the Schools started since September 17. Meanwhile if we talk about the infections in the district, 75 individuals have already died due to the virus.

Since most of the students are said to be ill the Schools have mentioned to be closed until further notice.
